Emmetsburg Schools will be dismissing school at 1:30 today (4/28/25) due to the potential of severe weather.
The Emmetsburg Community School District is hosting a Peanut Butter & Jelly drive! 🥜🍇🍞
Any type of butter- peanut, cashew, almond, is welcome! Same for jelly- grape, strawberry, apricot!
All items collected will be redistributed to E-Hawks students/families, so all can start off the summer with a quick and easy food source.
A distribution date/time for pickup of items is TBD and will be sent out soon!

It was blustery this morning, but that didn't stop our West Elementary Student Council!
For their 4th Quarter Service Learning Project-and their last one of the year- they headed out to Soper Park to clean up trash and give back to our community.
Bundled up and full of spirit, they picked up litter, spread kindness, and left the park looking better than they found it. We're so proud of these young leaders for finishing the year strong!

Due to course conditions and impending weather, the boys and girls golf meet between Alta-Aurelia and Emmetsburg at Five Island Golf Course in Emmetsburg that was scheduled for today, April 24th, has been postponed.
Boys Golf Meet will be rescheduled for Tuesday, April 29th.
Girls Golf Meet will be rescheduled for Friday, May 9th.
