While students and staff are enjoying a well-deserved summer break, our school sometimes becomes an unexpected stop for some special visitors.

Recently, a mother duck and her ducklings found their way into our building! Thanks to the quick efforts of caring staff members, the family was safely gathered and reunited outside where they belong.

Summer may mean empty hallways and quiet classrooms, but behind the scenes there's always something happening—from maintenance projects and deep cleaning to the occasional wildlife rescue. 🛠️🧹🦆

A big thank you to everyone who helped ensure these little guests had a safe journey home!

June is National Safety Month, and it’s a great time to review simple ways to help keep students and families safe all summer long! 🌞

✅ Drink plenty of water and take breaks from the heat.

✅ Wear sunscreen and reapply often when spending time outdoors.

✅ Use helmets when riding bikes, scooters, or skateboards.

✅ Follow pool, lake, and water safety rules, and always supervise children near water.

✅ Look both ways before crossing the street, and use crosswalks whenever possible.
