Registration must be completed before a student can be rostered for any activities/athletics.

As I work through clearing the concussion waivers and physicals today— one last time, before high school practices begin on Monday—I am also removing duplicate documents and extra copies that are no longer needed.
You may receive a notification from Bound indicating that a document has been deleted. Please know this is simply part of that cleanup process and only the unnecessary duplicates are being removed.
If I need any document re‑uploaded, you will receive an email directly from me, dhewitt@e-hawks.org, not from Bound.
Also keep in mind that every student who plans to participate in any activities at Emmetsburg Middle School or Emmetsburg High School must complete the full registration process on Bound. Students will NOT be allowed to participate in practices or games until this registration is complete with the correct and appropriately signed documents. Directions and information has been shared multiple times on the District's Site and through the District's Facebook page fpr how to complete that registration.

Students entering kindergarten must have a dental screening, vision screening, lead screening, current immunization records, and proof of a required health exam.

Originally from Milford, Cameron earned his degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability from Iowa State University and most recently taught at Harris-Lake Park Community School District. Outside of school, he enjoys hunting, fishing, running, and spending time outdoors with his wife, Elizabeth, their 3 cats, and their dog, Buddy.

Ashley was raised in Schaller, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of South Dakota, and brings experience from Buena Vista Regional Medical Center and Northwest Iowa Bone, Joint, and Sports Surgeons.
She and her fiancé, Matt, live on a farm near Cylinder with their dog, Hazel.
Ashley is excited to meet our elementary students and families and looks forward to helping students stay healthy and ready to learn! 🤗

Originally from Muscatine, Iowa, Bree graduated from Iowa State University. In June, she married her husband, Adam, and the two have made Spirit Lake their new home. Along with her husband, Bree also gained three sisters-in-law, making this an exciting new chapter for her family!
Outside of the classroom, Bree enjoys going for walks, reading, spending time on the lake and boating, and cheering on the Cyclones. She is looking forward to getting to know her 4th graders and their families and is excited for a great 2026-27 school year! 🎉
