High School Sports practices start on Monday, August 12th! We are still missing a lot of information for students to participate in Football, Volleyball, Cross Country and Cheer and any other activities throughout the year. Student(s) and families MUST be registered for activities on BOUND. The FAMILY has to complete the Concussion Acknowledgement and upload the last page of the completed and signed Physical Form on there. You will NOT need to bring those documents to the office/school. Students not fully registered on Bound will NOT be permitted to practice until these steps are done. The information for this has been out since the first week of July. Kim (Campbell) Kacmarynski attended Emmetsburg CSD from 1974 to 1987. She now serves as a member of the clergy in her community. Kim says Emmetsburg CSD offers value through its “small class sizes, which allows for more individualized attention.” We appreciate those kind words, Kim! 😀

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we are going to be postponing our Elementary Show Choir Camp to a later date. Anyone who has already turned in their registration will receive a refund. We are hoping to still have the camp at some point in the future in order to give the younger students this opportunity, and we will send out an alternative date once one is determined. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused!

High School Band Students - Band Camp is coming up in a few weeks! Make sure you check your email for all the details. I will see all of you on August 6th at 3 PM!

Please join us for the second show choir camp at Emmetsburg open to elementary students! This camp includes 2 hours of exposure to a totally new experience for the younger students in Emmetsburg, and it will be a blast! The camp will take place at Emmetsburg High School in both the auditorium and the choir room. Students will be split into two groups based on what grade they will be entering next year (1st-3rd & 4th-6th), and will get the opportunity to learn a song to perform with the high school students for their families. The fee for camp is $20, and it includes a t-shirt and a snack. A short performance will be in the auditorium at 6PM following the camp.
