If the bond referendum is approved on Tuesday, November 5, Emmetsburg CSD would move forward with the construction of a new PK-4 school to replace West Elementary.
West would transition to become an Early Learning Center serving the community’s youngest children. This would include the potential demolition of the building’s oldest portion and updates to remaining space, using a portion of state one-cent sales tax revenue that ECSD receives.
The district would retain ownership of the Early Learning Center and daycare space would be leased on site. The district would also continue to maintain and use the facility’s gymnasium, offices, and commons area.

Tickets for Friday night's playoff football game at Emmetsburg are going to be through the IHSAA Website and Hometown Ticketing. There will be NO CASH accepted, and activity tickets are NOT going to work for post season events. Follow the prompts to locate the correct event. You will be able to purchase admission at the gate with a debit or credit card. Gates open for admission at 6:00 pm.

For 15 years, Mrs. Tatman has taught Family and Consumer Science to 7th-12th grade students. She enjoys being part of a community that has so many school traditions.
