On Tuesday, March 25th, 22 Emmetsburg High School Students were inducted into the Lois E. Pollard Chapter of the National Honor Society - Class of 2026. These students have demonstrated exemplary attributes within service, leadership, and character. Thank you, new inductees, for being positive role models within our school and in our community.
These 22 students added to our current member roster of 18, from the Class of 2025. Students, know that we are incredibly proud of you and know you will continually be positive influences within our community and strive for excellence in your future endeavors.

The Twin Lakes Conference Art Show took place on the campus of Iowa Central Community College on Tuesday, March 25th. Eleven Emmetsburg High School students submitted 15 artworks for judging. Five of those works recieved awards from the Juror and the Student Voting. Congratulations to ALL of the Artists and students who attended the workshops! Happy Youth Art Month!

The Twin Lakes Conference Art Show that was scheduled for Thursday is POSTPONED to Tuesday, March 25th. Participants and Parents should look for communication from Mr. Hewitt in your email.

Emmetsburg Schools will be 2 hours late tomorrow (3/20/25). School Buses will run on hard surfaces only.

West Elementary Student Council hosted our first annual Luck of the Irish Dodgeball Tournament on Monday, and it was a blast!
Our hardworking Student Council members created the rules, organized the event, and even refereed games they didn’t play in—keeping everything fair and fun!
3rd and 4th graders faced off in intense matches, with Mr. Swanson’s class battling their way to the championship round against the teacher team.
A huge shoutout to all the students, teachers, and referees who made this event a success! Who’s ready for next year? 👀

BOOK FAIR is at the middle/high Library to welcome the students back from Spring Break! It will be all this week. Middle school kids can come in before/after school,during recess, or study halls! Each day is a fun day for extra prizes too!
