TONIGHT: Our 5th & 6th Grade Spring Band & Choir Concert! 🎶
The performances begin at 7:00 p.m. at Emmetsburg High School Auditorium. We’re looking forward to seeing our talented students perform!
State FFA Leadership Convention: Mrs. Arnold, Mr. Vermeer and 22 students (grades 9-12) traveled to Ames Iowa for the state FFA convention on Monday, April 15th and Tuesday, April 16th. While there, they attended leadership workshops, visited with colleges, attended a career fair and watched keynote speakers. Four students received their Iowa FFA degree which shows exemplary participation in an agriculture production program and supervised agriculture experience. Students and their projects are as follows:
▪️Addison Fehr-Opheim - Hog Confinement Barns and Crop Farming
▪️Emma Krause - Livestock and Crop Farming
▪️Ashton Peters
▪️Josey Saxton - Process of breeding and raising goats.
They each logged over 400 hours with their project, have been involved with formal agriculture education for 3+ years and logged 30 hours of community service while being involved with countless Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events through their FFA careers.
