Emmetsburg Community School District is a public school district located in EMMETSBURG, IA. It serves 702 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1. West Elementary School, Emmetsburg Middle School, and Emmetsburg High School are all rated Commendable on the latest Iowa School Performance Profiles.

The student body at the schools served by Emmetsburg Community School District is 90.7% White, 0.8% Black, 1.5% Asian or Asian/Pacific Islander, 4.7% Hispanic/Latino, 0.6% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0% Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander. In addition, 1.7% of students are two or more races, and 0% have not specified their race or ethnicity.
Also, 48% of students are female, and 52% of students are male. At schools in Emmetsburg Community School District, 30.8% of students are eligible to participate in the federal free and reduced price meal program and 0.9% of students are English language learners.
